Under a call-off contract with Dong, Subsea 7 has been selected to carry out a permanent repair to the subsea structure at Siri, as part of an offshore engineering and construction frame agreement.
Subsea 7 will carry out the caisson repair work at Siri with full responsibility for the work on an EPIC basis, which involves installing cable stays between the Siri platform legs and permanently securing the caisson through the installation of a new support structure connected to the caisson on the wellhead platform structure.
Two vessels, the Sevan Havila and Skandi Acergy will be mobilised for the work which will be carried out this year and next
