Executive Search and Recruitment

We believe that recruitment creates the foundation of success and evolution in a company. Consequently it is important that we do the necessary analyses before the recruitment starts.
Firstly, let us explain some expressions that are often used in recruitment.

Executive search is an English term also used in Norway. The term refers to the process of searching for a candidate without putting up an advertisement. We can also use the terms "market search" or "direct search of the market" in Norwegian. This method is a lot more comprehensive than recruiting through an advertisement.

Recruitment or selection is often used when advertising for candidates.

If we recruit competent people we will in turn get competent co-workers and see good results. If we recruit mediocre people we will as a consequence see mediocre results. Competent people will recruit competent co-workers. This is all correlated.

It is also worth considering that if we recruit over-qualified people without any opportunity for further development within the company they may become frustrated, which as a consequence may lead to poor results for the company.

It is a manager's responsibility to achieve results through delegation, and it is consequently important that he or she recruits the right people.

The key to recruitment success is a structured work method throughout the whole process.
